Webquest (work about advertising)

When we start the work, i liked, it was a funny work and a very interesting too!!! The part of assess the pictures was really great, because i never look to the advertising with a critic eyes, so i learn who to see the advertising in the diferent point of view.

I thing the work was a different idea, to who we could abord the theme of advertising.

But the part of make the letter, was the most hard work, because the group, didn't no who to relate the different themes with the final task.

Today I was listenning my favourite song(Goodbye my lover-James Blunt), and i just said...."Oh my God today is the Valentine's Day, i have to post someting to my beautiful love....So let's go....I love you so much you take my breath away, wen i'm with you the time does't pass, everything is fantastic you make me feel that i'm the one....that i'm the only one in the world. For me you are the most fantastic animal that i ever meet...I never love someone like i love you..you are my sun...my dream....my everything. I never gonna forget you....so i hope you never forget me, my beautiful Bunny (Froida), I want to pass the next years by your side, because you are the most white and beautiful bunny that i ever had...so, because of this things and much more things that i could say(But today i don't have much time)...Happy valentine's day my Beautiful bunny.

Veganism

At first time, I thought that veganism was only one mere option of life but I evidenced, with the visualization of the video that was much more than that,because the vegans are really worried not only with its health but also with animals.

Some animals suffer physical pain and even emotional stress the same way humans do . Because of this, we should take animals' suffering seriously. Because animal products are not a necessary part of our diet, becoming vegan is one of the most effective ways to reduce animals' suffering.

We don't just happen to kill and eat animals to save them from dying a natural death. for example a lot of animals are used to produce some animal products. If we stop buying animal products, animal industries will have no incentive to keep breeding these animals.

Vegan foods, such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and beans, are low in fat, contain no cholesterol, and are rich in fiber and nutrients. Vegans can get all the protein they need from legumes (e.g., beans, tofu, peanuts) and grains (e.g., rice, corn, whole wheat breads and pastas); calcium from broccoli, kale, collard greens, tofu, fortified juices and soymilks; iron from chickpeas, spinach, pinto beans, and soy products; and B12 from fortified foods or supplements. With planning, a vegan diet can provide all the nutrients we need .

For these reasons and many others, I support the vegans unconditionally but as he is obvious I do not know if i could be capable to follow this diet.:)

GM Foods

GM stands to genetically modified food. GM foods have been artificially changed by cientists in laboratory.
Some persons put in cause the benefits of GM foods,and they have afraid what could happen to hers if they eat that modified food.They have been angry debates between scientists and campaigners about whether GM foods are safe or not. Campaigners apresent some arguments against GM foods:

GM foods can damage your health, researchs howed that rats eating them didn't grow properly. New diseases could also be created by accident.
Different species are being mixed up , to give a tomato a more reddish colour, it may be given parts of a very red fish, which seems to be against nature.
Because GM foods are new, there has not been any long-term testing to see if they are dangerous to humans.

But we can also admite that GM foods have some benefits, like:

Plants can be bred to fight off weeds and pests, so crops are never spoiled;
We can then produce more food, like rice, and feed the world's starving people;
Food could also be cheaper because there would be more of it.

Human cloning

Human cloning is a fact that already occupies space in our days, for some persons is an great idea, but for others ,like me, for example, i don't considere human cloning the best thing in the world, or an great idea, because i thing human cloning is like something that would radically alter the very definicion of what a human being is, something like, produce duplicate humans. For me "each man have theirs real i", is very strange have a duplicate of me, could be funny........but, at the same time really strange:/
May i accept that cloning could help to solve diferent problems. Problems like:

Genetic diseases for which there is no cure, and cloning will enable to carry out researches into the causes of these diseases and perhaps develop methods to treat that diseases.
uncovered of new medicines
developing tecnics to treat diseases.
Human cloning could benefit infertility couples.

We have heard people talking about how the weather is very different today than it was ten years ago. You may have noticed changes in the weather every day. The earth's climate has changed many times over millions of years, sometimes slowly, sometimes very quickly. What makes climate change different today? Human activity - mainly greenhouse efect, gas emissions from the burning fossil fuels- is now causing the Earth's climate to change incredibly fast, taking us far outside natural ranges and towards 'tipping points' beyond which very large, the consequences may be irreversible. Because of the irresponsibility of the human being, things like:

Sea level rise;
Greenhouse effect;
ozone layer destruction;
Deplition of natural resources;
Extinction of species
Ice caps melting
global warming;

Hello there!!!!!!!!
My name is Patricia and i'm 16 year old. I'm from Setúbal and i'm a student at Sebastião da Gama.
I live with my mother, my father and my brother. I have a pet, a rubbit (froida), she is fantastic, very white and she have a big red eyes.
My favourite sports are badminton, tennis and whatching football,specially when sporting play.
My hobbies are listenning to music and kidding with my rubbit and reading a nice book. I hate voleyball, because i'm an horrible player. I like being with my friends, they make me happy!!!:)
I could say that i am "crazy" for series. I see a lot of series, but i love to see "everwood", "gossip girls","CSI miami" and "grey anatomy".
My favourites bands are: linkin park, evanescence, breaking benjamin, Jesse McCartney, Mika...
My favourite actor is Christian Bale.
What worries me the most???...probably couldn't be a good student and in the future don't have a good job...
ok...in fact what worried me the most is my future....!!!!
For me, the most fantastic thing in the world is the human being.
In a near future i want to won the lottery, but if i don't won the lottery I want to be a physiotherapist.....just if i don't won the lottery, of course :)
